The final countdown is on for Girl’s Night Out – White Hot Soiree happening this Saturday at Yaeger Airport! Some of the ladies of the WV Style Team will be there capturing pics of the hottest fashions and we’re more than ready to have a great time for a great cause!!!!
If you’re planning to go and you’re looking for some cosmetic inspiration for the big event, check out our recommended looks to highlight your white hot ensemble and stand out from the crowd of more than 1,500 women!!!
This gorgeous golden hued look is universal and can be played up or down depending on your skin tone and desired look. For a simple metallic flare, add a gorgeous golden eyeliner above your normal black or brown. If you’re looking for a more dramatic gold, cover your entire eye lid in corresponding shades of gold and add a liberal amount of bronzer to your cheekbones. The shine doesn’t have to stop there! Adding a little glimmering bronzer to the fronts of your legs (shins) helps to elongate and adding a swipe of shimmer to your collar bones and/or decolletage accentuates your face!
This classic look is easily replicated and is universally flattering. Choose the best red for you based on skin tone and pair the vibrant color with subtle make up on the rest of the face. We recommend layering your lips for maximum stay factor. start by applying foundation to your lips then use a liner to eliminate bleeding from your lipstick – for extra staying power you can cover your entire lip in lip liner and that creates a solid foundation for color. Add all over lip color and coat with your favorite gloss for unbeatable shine. Tip – if you add a little of your glimmer or shimmer to the center of your lips it helps them to look more full.
It’s going to be warm on Saturday and some of you may be worried about your make up melting away. Embrace the glow and shine and go for a more natural look! Instead of a thick foundation, use a BB Cream and loose translucent powder to set the look. Add a subtle lip color about a shade above your natural hue and accentuate your cheekbones bridge of nose and inner corners of your eyes with highlighter for maximum glow and pop!
Finally, if you’re looking to be noticed and to add a little flare to your fashion – go for the drama! Heavy metallics, smoky eyes and liberal liners are all in fashion! Be careful, a little goes a long way and you don’t want to pair these looks with a heavy lip or cheek color.
